Research overview

Thymosin alpha-1 is a peptide studied in immune-response research. It has been investigated in controlled clinical settings as well as studies of immune-cell activity.

The linked severe-sepsis trial found changes in an immune marker, but the survival finding depended on the analysis used. The findings do not establish a general immune-boosting benefit.
